Munich Airport (MUC)

A private car from Munich airport into the city, to the Alps and Salzburg, or across the border to Prague.

Munich Airport lies north-east of the city, between Freising and Erding, roughly 30 kilometres from the centre of Munich. It has two terminals, and the airport is linked to the motorways towards Munich, Nuremberg and the Alps.

The drive into central Munich usually takes forty to fifty minutes, longer at rush hour on the motorway ring. The S-Bahn lines run to the city too, but with skis, children or several suitcases a car from the terminal to the door is easier.

For many travellers Munich airport is the gateway to the Alps. Salzburg and the ski resorts of Tyrol and Bavaria are a few hours away by road, and Prague can be reached in around four hours. A booked transfer means you are not looking for a train connection or a rental desk after a long flight.

Where your driver meets you

If you book meet and greet, your driver waits in the arrivals area of your terminal with a sign carrying your name. Without it, you call the driver once you have your luggage and walk to the car together. We follow your flight number, so a delay does not leave you without a car. The exact meeting point is in the confirmation we send before your trip.
